Question to anyone with Experience of Buying own Flights

Heya,

Just wandering guys, do we need to book a return flight or just a single for the 1 year program?

Reason being I am looking at booking now and you cant get any returns (you can only book a year in advance!) so how does that work?

If I buy my single, does the disney reimbursing you for the return apply?

hey, you only need to get a single, disney will still give you the money for the return flight as long as you complete your program.

 

I wasnt sure, with 90% of US Visas you require a return flight... ???

i am going on the j1 Academic program from Aug and i was talking to the people from yummy jobs last night about the returning air fare and they told me that i have to pay for it my self, as they do know pay for it. i am confused as i thought that they payed for your flight coming home as you cant book a flight for over a year away.

 

its only on the q1 visa i think they pay for it

if you go out for the 6mth UCF programme they dnt pay for your flight home but u can book a single flight it doesnt have to be a return i spoke to michelle at yummy's coz i was gettin a lil confussed bout this, it doesn't matta ether way is fine
