apparently, so I've heard, there's a locker in each persons wardrobe...kinda like a safe I guess.....so I would presume apartment locker means that!!

Don't hold me to it tho!

There is a locker in each apartment closet for personal stuff like passport and money extra. I had good roommates but believe me some people didn't and things did get stolen unfortunately!
I didn't take a combination lock just a regular padlock and key which did fine.
As I said I had good roommates and didn't have too many parties in my apartment, just went to other people's apartment parties!!! Plus my roommate worked in food & bev so had way more money than I did anyway!!! Ha ha!!!

Lindsay and Marie have a wicked time in UK Merch! You'll love it!!!!

Take care! I'm so jealous!!! xxx ::)

Because you get to keep the tips that are left on your tables. Although your hourly wage goes down, because you get tipped approximately 15% of the total bill, that soon adds up! Merchandise, you just get your hourly wage.

If you are in a quick service position like Winnie mentioned then you are not allowed to accept tips. The only time you are allowed to accept tips is if you are in an official tip position in which case your hourly pay goes down accordingly.

If you are not in a tip position and get caught accepting tips then you could be reprimanded but you could also be terminated. People do take tips especially when they are serving alcohol like the beer cart in the UK pavillion but just choose the right moments. You'll get taught all the wrong ways when you're there anyway.

    i see
i have a question which is out of this topic(i know it's a bit stupid but i would like to know about it)
In my place, tumble-dryers are not  very common ,only some families have it
i have heard that tumble-drier will make the clothes shrink,is that true?
If so how do u deal with it?

    Hey Winnie,
Dryers can shrink your clothes, but it depends on the fabric.
If your concerned all you need to do is put the dryer on the cool setting where its not heated air....this wont shrink your clothes, or you can just hang them to dry.

    Hope this helps
