hey i was accepted into the program and i was just wondering if there is any way to be a part of the preformers ,parade etc.. i have 10 years of dance experience and that would be my dream to do that . ? thx
I may be wrong about this but I think your only chance would be on the International College Program (ICP), and even then I dont think they take CPs for dancing roles, I believe those are actually all contracted out to local dance companies.
slightly different, but im a drummer and im pretty gutted i might not be able to play them for a year!! i know one time i came to disney i saw the tarzan show and it was awesome! they had a band playing... just wondering would there be any chance of auditioning to be a drummer?! probably unlikely but worth a go! also im assuming there isnt any sort of music room with drums that people can just go in and play...prove me wrong?
My mates doing character on the J1 Academic Program for 6 months..He flys out the same date as me.. To be a character performer you have to be given that job when you are accepted, otherwise you have to extend your program, which is very difficult, if not impossible for international castmembers as far as i know.. My friend asked to extend on the college program last year because he loved it that much he just wanted to stay, but they told him he'd have to go back home and re-apply..
How about as character escorts? I'm working under the CRP but I understand that Characters do enter the world showcase from time to time. Would there be oppotunitys to escort them and protect them from the kiddys ;D
That job is called Character Attendant and you also have to be given that job role when your accepted! Sorry ;D haha..

what program are you on? if your on the CRP then you are on a Q1 visa, and the terms of that visa state that you need to be representing your country thats why you need to work within the epcot pavillions. you wont be able to go to casting cos it will be illegal for u to have any otherj ob :-\
hey , i was accepted into the year program but i was talking with the agency and decided the cruiselines would better suit me . so im just waiting to hear but i would pretty much be a character preformer anywhere if given the opportunity .
On International you are unable to do anything other that Attractions/Merch/F&B in the Canadian Pavillion! You are not able to be a Character! You would have to apply to the College Program for CHaracters specifically or CruiseLines
