I was wondering if someone who knows a little more about EPCOT than me could tell me what parade, if any, you can find there? I've heared about Tapestry of Nations which I know doesn't excist anymore, but then there is Tapestry of Dreams. Is that one still there? Think I read that one was gone too now :p ...so do they have any parades there now?? :)

Unfortunately EPCOT doesn't have any parades anymore :(...the only show they have is Illuminations (which is fabulous!!).
Magic Kingdom has two parades, Animal Kingdom has one and MGM has one as well. They're all fabulous!!

    Magic Kingdom:
Spectro Magic - it's a really neat parade, done at night and everything is all lit up!!
Disney Dreams Come True Parade - this is my favourite...all the top characters...and even the Fairy Godmother is there!!

    Magic Kingdom - Special Parades:
ABC Christmas Parade - this is the one that is shown on TV and they film it over 1 or 2 days depending on the weather
Very Merry Christmas Parade - shown durning, you guessed it..the Christmas Season...more specifically during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade - shown during, yeppers, the Halloween season! There's a great Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party to enjoy as well!!

    MGM Studios:
Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade - You'll see characters here that you won't see in other parades, like Luke and Princess Leia (not sure if that's only during Star Wars weekend...but it's still pretty cool!)

    Animal Kingdom:
    Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade -
Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade - this is the Holiday version...all the characters are dressed up in their Christmas finery!

Enjoy them all when you get to see them :)

Love it ... I used to work the Coffee Cart on Echo Lake, or at Min and Bills Dockside Dinner (the Boat on Echo Lake) atleast twice a week around the parade time (I had like 10 work locations so I was always moving). Lots of rare characters, you're right Pixie!

    - Luke, Leia, Darth Vader and R2D2. Mary Poppins. Lightning McQueen and Mater. Cruela DeVil and Hades. Kermit and Miss Piggy. Sully and Mike Wasouski.

And sometime in October they started bring Characters from the parade out about 30min-an hour after the parade infront of the hat for Character Greetings, and not just one or two ... there was one day I counted atleast a dozen that I could see from where I was standing. Although they have Character Greetings before the parade infront of the hat, they definately come out in full force afterwards. A good place to catch Pocohantas and Meko, Jasmine and Aladin, Mary Poppins, Lilo and Stich, the Queen of Hearts and Alice (they were all there almost everytime that I saw, and then the mix it up for the rest)

*sniffle* I miss MGM already. DSMC music, Screams from the Tower of Terror and Fantasmics Music *sniffle*

They don't do Tapastry any more because it cost to much to put it on and didn't actually make people more likely to go to EPCOT. Because it was all live preformers it was very expensive to do and so they decided it wasn't worth the effort.

The MK parade with the characters in the bubbles totally freaked me out. My favourite was Mickeys Jammin Jungle parade, even just to see Chip and Dale with their backpacks..so cute!

Boo to you is a really good parade, make sure you're there 10 minutes early though cause before the parade starts the headless horseman rides (really fast and on a big black horse) down the parade route.

When I saw Tapestry of Nations, the wind picked up and started to blow the performers away. Security came out of nowhere and it took 3 security guards to keep each performer on the ground.

Maybe we can have another epcot parade soon! Rember that next year epcot will have its 25th anniversary celebration!

Maybe WE can be in the parade :D That would be cool. Though I think Disney hires actors/actresses for that.

I TOTALLY see myself as parade material. They better not hire people!

I mean, I bet I meet requirements. I can walk. I can wave. And I'll be working there! What more would they want?

I was told the reason that Epcot no longer has a parade is because there isn't the room for it and it was a saftey hazard. If people were trying to get around world showcase while the parade was on there was no where for them to go as the streets aren't very wide to begin and the parade took up a lot of the space that there is.

Yeah, the same logic should apply to Food and Wine festival. CRAZY trying to get around with all those extra booths set up!

still possible though as the booths are to the sides, where as the parade would block the whole street.

i also heard that those heavy stuff woren by the performers was heavy .

I think Epcot hasn't been created to perform a Parade .

the Only Parade that i can see in that park is the Imagination Parade presented at Disneyland Paris for a year long .

This Parade is no longer presented at Disneyland Paris for some reasons since 2001 .
