On the acknowlege form, it says we have to bring professional attire and shoes for the first day of work, so that means we should bring business attire?

I got so much stuff in my luggage , and i really dont want to bring my suits since it is easily get folded and high heel takes space too. Just wondering if we could bring some casual business attires?

    Hey there....
If you go to the section that says...... THE INTERVIEW....it describes in FULL detail what they consider to be PROFESSIONAL ATTIRE!!

I KNOW that it may seem that it is alot to bring but it is EXPECTED!!!

    Hope that helped!! ;D ;D

Don't worry about it. I just brought the trousers and top I wore on the day of my interview. You won't be needing the jacket at least.

    I don't need a real professional suit...
...this is an advantange of being female..
As a boy, a suit it's the only professional thing I can wear..
    ..you can be just elegant..
...and you'll look like professional enough!!

I'll be bringing a suit, but I hope not to be wearing it everyday since it'll get mighty hot, mighty quick. I think a dress shirt, dress pants and tie are fine for a guy...
I think Alex is right though, girls have it easier... definitely have more options

    good idea..
..I was thinking that maybe taking 2 pieces of everything (pants, jackets, shirts and ties) will be enough..
...just not to wear the same clothes for a week!!! :D :D
    What do you think?!?!
Is it too much or is it ok??

I think that'd be fine. If anything, more shirts would help, I think people notice those more than anything else

    That's a very good idea..
...so I'll better start buying a couple of shirts..
..I don't use shirts very often..
..just special occasions..so it's time to give my wardrobe a twist! :D

first 3 days is casual like short and t-shirt, then you have to days of business but only need shoes, trousers with belt and shirt. You dn't need a tie or suit jacket.
Then after that u are in costume !!

But how long you have to be elegant??
As far as I know during the training days (1 week approx) you have to wear a suit...
..and the Disney look implies a whole suit, not just trousers ans shirt...
    ..who knows...

    Birdman22 are you sure??
    I mean..Are you already there???

Your first 2/3 days, you're filling out forms and attending housing and banking meetings. I think it's smart casual for that (e.g. shorts/t-shirts would probably be fine as long as they're fairly respectable).

When you start training (i.e. the Traditions/Orientation course onwards), it's Disney Look for Non-Costumed Men you want to be looking at.... which says dress trousers, long/short sleeved shirt (which must be tucked in)... "A tie, sport coat or suit may be required at certain times depending on your work location and the nature of your role" which I'm guessing means that as we're not managers or anything and are only in non-costumed Disney Look for training, a tie but not a suit jacket.

In other words, I'm gonna wear a tie but not a suit jacket.

After the formal training (classes etc.) when you start on-the-job training specific to your work location, you're wearing your location specific costume and so don't need to worry about suits etc.

Other interesting things to note: Nametags should be worn on the left shoulder area and not on lanyards, ties, hats, waistbands or collars. Glasses should have neutral (black/ brown/ metal rimmed) color frames with a conservative style and no contrasting logos. Frames and lenses in shades such as blue, green and pink, yellow etc. will not be permitted as they are not neutral colors. If colored or tinted contact lenses are worn, the resulting eye color must be natural looking and appropriate to your skin tone. Decorated lenses are not permitted.

As for girls, there's a whole load of other stuff for you lot that would take forever to type out and/or summarize, so I'll just say... read your Disney Look Book :D:p
