Hey folks Just wondering how easy it is to register with a GP in Florida. Is there a medical centre at Disney for cast members or anything? I take repeat medication for my thyroid, and my doctor will only give me a 2 months supply because the nhs have changed their rules on repeat prescritptions. Plus they won't let my parents pick it up for me if I'm not in the country (lame!!). So looks like I'm stuck getting it out there. Which I don't mind doing, even though it'll mean paying. Yummy suggested I ask my insurance but I'm not sure it's something they'd cover.
Hmmm, never thought about this. Guess I'll have to see if the doctors can give me loads of stuff to take out.
There's a cast member health centre (With a new one built next to it, I think!) in the back end of the Epcot CM parking lot. Take the C bus to Epcot and walk in the opposite direction of cast services and it'll be on the right! Simple as! And even if they don't have access to a GP (which I think they do...), they'll be able to tell you what to do. Then, for the prescription, just head to the Walgreens near Vista! I'd definately ask your insurance too! Never hurts to ask!
