    Hey!

    I've posted this a while back elsewhere but I just noticed this Tech Q's area... so I thought that I'd give it a whirl here.

    Ok... This could end up sounding like a real dumb question... But here goes...

    (It's kinda related to Laptops anyway)

    Obviously coming over from the Uk... If I bring 1x UK to US adapter and an english 4-point extension to plug into the UK>US adaptor will it be fine??? What I mean is,

    All of these things that I will be bringing have UK plugs:
    Laptop;
    Digital Cam;
    Electric Shaver;
    Mobile Phone;

    1) If I bring a UK 4-POINT (to plug the above into)
    2) Use a UK>U.S Travel Adaptor on the end of the 4-POINT
    Then Plug the 4-POINT into the wall as normal...

    Will it be ok?

    Just incase I've confused you even more, I've attempted a Diagram (using the Keyboard Only!!!!):

    [-'-][-'-][-'-][-'-]--------------[PLUG]===[ADAPTOR]= THUS:
    UK PLUGS UK in UK>U.S TURNING IT INTO A
    TO NORMAL UK PLUG to ADAPTOR U.S MAINS 4-POINT
    POWER POINTS

    Make sense??

    Someone said back on that thread that they tried it and it was fine ;)

    Also, someone said they asked their electrician Dad and he said it should be ok ;)

    Excellent, thanks for that one KC. Saves taking all those adaptors. Weight IS a premium!!!
