lol yeh went to club paris-with beth for her 19th bday actually!!was fun but an eye opener- we were the only white ppl atthe time about 12 of us!!! beth and another blonde girl got bit of racial abuse!!e laughed it off though nothing oo serious!and to say beth prob couldnt look anymore closer to paris!!Jungle jims it was called!!went there a few times-drunk of course not sober!! There is another place pplgo to now-house of blues and somewhere for lads and lasses not sure where it is!!! will house of blues be shut then??its not actually in PI though is it? xxx
i'm well gutted about pleasure island too!!!! the adventurers club has soooo fab and beach club!!! hehe but if house of blues goes that'll just be awful!! hopefully it wont do as its just so busy and not really part of PI!! Devastated!! x x x
House of Blues wont be shut down because its an independant company, and technically part of the West Side and not PI, so we can still go there!
there is also still the ale house, and girls drink free there on mondays, house of blues on sundays, and bufalo wild wings on wednesdays!
Ooooh I want to go there now!! Buffalo Bills..what happens on a Wednesday? I went on a monday once after work and I think we where the only ones in there chewing on a wing....Jungle Jims..Hahaha I remember that! Sooo funny! Everyone was always wasted b4 they got in!! Theres also a new place i think ppl go too..Blue martini?? Club Paris was a bit dodgy come to think of it....Infact Downtown Orlando was a bit scary but you just dont really notice when your there until after the night! Theres alwasy Citywalk..Not the same but its there! Damn but u have to pay!! BOOOO xxx
NOOOOO. That is horrible. I had plans. I was finally going to be of age to drink. And when my brother and his family went down I was going to watch the kids so him and his wife could get a much needed break and just unwind away from children and have a good time with music clubs and such. That is so sad.
:'( I know its soo bad... When PI was 18 plus it was sooo busy and then they changed it to 21 plus and it wasnt really that busy anymore. I think they should just reduce the age to 18 again, but it says that they want to make it for all ages..so there going to put more shops and dining facilities...Dont think they need anymore!
I have only been to Pleasure Island once and I can hardly remember it - was with the family years ago and we were just passing through to have a look. Gutted that I will never get to enjoy it xx
Well.... I guess we'll just have to enjoy it while it lasts. I'm definitely going to cram in as much PI as possible from my arrival date to the end of September!
