If I get in I am looking forward to getting some CM Exclusive pins to add to my collection!

I too love pins, i've not counted recently but I believe I have over 100, not a small collection, not massive either though mind.

The one CM exclusive pin I do have, is the massive WDW CM Exclusive Pin of the Paris Castle, its the biggest pin i've seen, its got like 3 layers I think and a 2 small sliding doors, one slides up to reveal a prince and princess and one reveals the dragon :D

    Tee hee

My latest CM Exclusive (I got it in my cracker at Christmas lol) was the CM Exclusive Grand Opening Pin for 'Soaring' in EPCOT. When I was on holiday in WDW Easter 2005, my family and I had a special preview of it :D Such an awesome ride and great that we were some of the select few who got to try it before it opened.

    :D

PINS!! Ive got my collection in a mickey mouse shaped bag...I'm sure I'll find myself in Downtown Disney a lot with its massive pin station

    :D

I wish I could bring all my pins :( but they will be too heavy to pack in my checked luggage, and I'm only allowed one bag for hand luggage and my laptop is going so nooooooooooooooo.

I will however bring the one swap I have haha... and my little CM pin bag (thank you Ebay!) so at least I will have somewhere to put them hehehhee

    Well you buy pins!!!

And lots of people wear them on lanyards around their necks....or have them in bags etc... and if you see someone with one you like, then you ask to swap one of yours with theirs.

I heard that CM's HAVE to swap if a guest asks, so it's wise not to wear your best ones!!! I'm buying some to swap specially LOL

OK in answer to your question yes all cast can go. You can take in one person on your main gate card as well. They do swipe your id so don't pull a sicky and go or anything.

When I was there they had 7 in the year so once every 6 weeks or so but I think it just depends on what they are thinking of doing.

When you're there you can buy loads of reduce pins (ranging from $1.99 to $5.99) that haven't sold too well in the shops. Then you also have the Cast exclusives which you can only buy a limited number of, and you have the Event exclusive which you can only buy two of!

At the ones I went to when you went in you got 2 tickets that allowed you to go and swap 2 pins with the pin board they have there. Depending on when you go depends on whether there are any decent ones on there (alkthough they do try and switch pins around when they have a chance) and basically you pick a pin off the board for one of yours. You can get loads of great pins this way such as Artist proof pins and Executive Cast exclusives. Hopefully they are still doing this cause this was the best part.

They happen at loads of locations. In 2004 they did one at EPCOT, one at MGM, one at Wide world of sports, one at property control, one at All star resort and one at Mickeys retreat but I think it just depends on where there's enough space.

    Hope this helps

Oh and forgot to mention they also have grab bags which are bags for $10 or $5 (think its the first price but can't really remember) that are full of about 10-15 pins and are great value if you want pins to swap.
