Why do the Americans always have to be different. why does the bloody photo have to be 2inches in size, why couldnt they just have had passport photos, which are much easier to get. Have people found it easy to get these photos??? and where have you got them form?????
Hey American and Canadian passport photos are 2 inches square so they need this for the visa. I just went to a local photographers and he did my photo for me, only cost £10 so wasn't too bad on the wallet!
If you're not sure you can ge tthem done in london before your interview. My sister just went to get her visa (she's doing a PHD prgram in texas) and she needed the same thing, she gave me a map of the area and told me that along the road towards the embassy (grosvenor street I think?) there are about 8 newsagents and different places advertising visa application photo services, so no worries!

Yeah, I did it Friday, I went the dentist really early so when it was finished I got to town just as the shops were opening, went and paid the visa fee at HSBC (it was free there too!) and am now prayign I don't loose the reciept, and got my pics done. (I looked rough in them, fun times). Just booking my rail tickets and stuff now and then I'm all done (finally!). If you go into any photo developement place they will probably do the photos we need, just take the sheet with you so you can show them what you need and be sure to mention you need them to be US visa size, not passport size. If not, just do it in london, there are loads pf places by the embassy as I said.
