Phones and World Cup

Does anyone know how much mobile phones cost in Florida please? ??? Not sure wether to buy one when i get there (7 weeks to go!) to use for keeping in touch with people back home via txt msgs. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Also...will there anywhere to watch the World Cup (Football..or Soccer) around Disney?

hey guys, bring your mobile from home (get it unlocked 1st) then buy a pay as you go tmobile from walmart most of us have the same here its $40 you will get a phone with it its just your uk one might be better (ive put the sim in my phone from the uk). At 1st i got a virgin pay as you go it was only $20 but it won't let ya txt the uk!!!!!! so Ive now got the t mobile.

As for the world cup I cant wait not sure where will have it on yet but don't worry coz sumwhere will!!!!

Tessa! *gasp* Im Canadian and I know world cup! I watched it religiously a few yeary ago when Brazil won. No surprise that was. I'd get up at 5am to watch the games live, good thing I didnt work that summer.

Tessa, World cup is soccer/football.

 

Well there is also a World Cup of Hockey (it happened last year and was the last pro hockey before the NHL lockout).

 

And Canada murdered at that World Cup

But we're not near good enough to get into the other World Cup. Heck, we're lucky if we can beat Guatemala.

cheers everyone...ands yeah...the soccer world cup...a must see competition which England should win!!!! So dont want to miss it!!!! should b a storming atmosphere with all the different nationalities (sorry to those who didnt qualify!!!!)! hoping for a good bit of banter between everyone!

 

Well, since Norway didn't qualify I guess i'll hang with you british people. My boyfriend is half british, so it's kind of the second best alternative! Can't wait!

 

Although I'm English, I'd much rather watch the World Cup of Hockey than the World Cup of Football (we never seem to do well in the World Cup).
