hey, I have my phone interview tomorroe, so excited! i feel so lucky!!! ;D just wondering, anybody who's had one already, how long roughly do the phone interviews last? just so I can get a general idea any help would be muchly appreciated! Thanks! Charlotte xx 19, UK, first-time applicant!
Hey, well done for getting a phone interview. When I had mine it lasted about 10 - 15 mins, nothing major just general questions. Just be yourself, dont be nervous. Good luck xx
it can last anything from 10 - 30 minutes, all depends who you get, what they ask, what you say and how much detail you go into!! theres heaps of threads about phone interviews on this forum, have a look as you can get ideas on what questions they might ask and you can try to think out some answers so you feel better prepared! Good luck!!
hey guys! thanks for your replies. spent.... oh i dunno how long going through majority of these posts, and it really has helped, so thank you!! I now know they're generally asking about you /getting to know you, and YJ have a reputation for being uber-friendly, so feeling ok... i think!! what were your experiences of the interview like? any particulare questions they ask stand out at all? Charlotte.... or you can call me charlie!
they are going to ask things like: why do you want to work for disney? what makes you an ideal candidate for this program? What do think think will be challenging about the program? they may ask you to describe a time when you have given great customer service/dealt with an unhappy customer etc ---- they will want you to give examples of what you did to resolve a difficult situation they will ask what skills you think you have that fit the role they may ask what/who is your favourite disney character and why best advice i can give is to note down your reasons for wanting to work for disney and for wanting to work as a cultural rep, in the UK pavillion, In epcot think of some work based examples you can talk about where you have given good customer service and where you have resolved a difficult situation think of your own strengths and skills - what makes YOU perfect for this job?! just try to stay calm and not rush through it all, they want you to chat with them so dont be afraid to ask them questions, it should feel like a chat rather than them firing questions at you and you just answering. what time is your interview and who is it with??
