How are you feeling about your interview? where is it being held? I'm going out for a year, can't wait!!!

 

its in london, so im making a wee weekend of it and going down on the sat comin home on the tues! soooo exciting! im really excited just now but i know at the time il be really nervous!!!

any tips u can give me for interview, or any preparation u did that u found useful??

 

I actually really enjoyed the interview day, although i was mega nervous!!! If it's the same as mine was, they give you a presentation about living experience etc, they they give you a time to come back that day for interview.

It was more like a chat though, no hard questions, they just went over my C.V and asked about my jobs an stuff and about Scotland. The only thiongs i would say is to smile lots!!! and i dressed pretty smartly, the way they want you to dress in disney, not alot of make up, hair tied back, just little things.

Don't know if that helps, but i'm sure you'll have a laugh, they are all really nice!!

 

oh i hate my hair tied up if im not in work, do i HAVE to wear it up, id planned to wear it down...

yeh thats wot everyone has said that its more of a chat than a hard interview! and im a smiley person so smilin lots shouldnt be a problem hehe!

No No, don't stress you don't have to wear it up, people had their hair down so you will be fine!!! Don't think it makes a huge difference anyway.

Just try not be nervous, easier said than done though!!

 

Looks like there will be a wee bunch of us Scottish lot over if me and Jilly make it !!
I'm the opposite side to you girls though stay through east side at Edinburgh.

hey, yeh im going over for a year. Starting next week
Dont worry about the interview its really easy, maybe pick up few facts about scotland, you know what the flag stands for or a schpeil about kilts or summit so you can fling them in to show you know your country.

they ask you questions like what do you like most about scotland, glasgow. what is your favourite thing. stuff like that jut be smiley and bubbley, there really nice people anyways. although it does suck you have to go all the way down to london i was lucky i had one in glasgow

 

well that makes my question redundant...but hey hey i'm going on the same day as you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
