My friends and I have this sort of game between ourselves I thought I'd share!

First of all, we live all over different parts of the country (Which are beautiful and completely different). So we'd send pictures we took of our varying homelands to each other with pennies in the picture somewhere to prove we took the picture ourselves (and that it is truly our own pictures of our own little homes).

And it would be MUCH more interesting here since we're all from all over different parts of the world! So even a picture of the downtown of your city, on the highway to visit your grandparents, your favourite cafe, the park across the street, a sunrise from your backyard, whatever works! I know I'd love to see Mexican cities, small towns in Germany, French boulevards, all sorts of places I havn't been to yet!

So feel free to show everyone your homeland, why you're proud to live there, and make sure there's a penny in the picture somewhere! Of course, you don't really have to put a penny in it if you don't want to - maybe you just have old pictures of your city you'd like to share!

    Well, I thought I'd start off :D

Here's a picture I took this past summer on the highway during a roadtrip - bask in the Canadian Prairie countryside (it pretty much looks like this all around)!

And just the veiw from my deck - I remember someone scoffing when I said it was too cold to run right now - I'd love to see someone brave enough to run in this! And that's a parking lot. There's pavement somewhere under there!

(ignore the net - we have that on our deck so our kitten can't jump off!)

Well, the penny is more of a suggestion. You don't have to put it in there - it's just the idea that you took the picture yourself that we're going for here :D They can be old pictures you've taken if you want ;D

That's the view from my university accomodation. Beautiful, isn't it!!!

Then there are some lucky gits in the same halls who get to live in this building: [IMG].
Ok, so they pay like £500 more than me, but still... GITS! (I didn't take that photo, mind... I have yet to see snow in Cardiff, only rain :p)

I'll take some photos of Oxford/ Cardiff when exams are over. Although anyone who watches Torchwood has seen a glossy version of Cardiff, and everyone's seen photos of Oxford! Maybe I'll take photos of the 'unseen' areas of the cities!!

Holy! I might just fly over there to go to University! It looks goregous. And picture perfect snow, too!

    - And I'm not sure about the red cross, PeXoXaLoVePooH, but you can try uploading them through the message boards - they allow bigger pictures to be uploaded now :D

Finally do it!!!! lol...well is not my best photo i was so tired!!! but ignore me and see the grotto behind me!, this is in Valladolid a city just 2 hrs away from mine in the same state (Yucatan) we call it "cenote" (pronounced in Spanish seh-no-teh and in English say-no-tay) the name given in Central America and southern Mexico to a type of freshwater-filled limestone sinkhole. The name derives from a Mayan word, dz'onot. The term is also nowadays commonly used to describe similar karst features in other countries such as Australia, where they are commonly called simply sinkholes and contain deep non-flowing lakes of crystal-clear freshwater which attract cave divers from around the world.

ok i found the information on wikipedia cuz i dont have idea on how describe it! lol, this are usual here in Yucatan, and were used for the Mayans to made sacrifices for the gods, they are a really big pàrt of the history so we have to keep them! ;D

hope u like the photo!!! :)

This is Zipolite Oaxaca. Zipolite means "Place of death" partly because the sea it's a little bit tricky there and many people drowns but also because Zapotec people used it a sacred place and made human sacrifices. I lived there for a whole year and al the beaches around it are semi-virgins (including Zipolite). It's a wonderful place to visit and not expensive at all.
