Can anyone tell me if paychecks can also be given as cash? Also, in case one doesn't want to open a US bank account, can one ask them to pay the paycheck directly to one's debit card? Hope this makes sense... ???
ok, AS FAR AS I KNOW they either pay you in check or make a deposit into your account. it must be a US bank account though, and you can set that up online once you're there so you don't have to go directly to the bank to cash your checks
You also don't have to go to a bank to cash your cheques although it's easier. I can't remember if it's Wal Mart or Publix but one of them will cash your cheque for a fee and you can only cash one cheque every 10 days (meaning you won't be able to cash all of them).
The easiest thing to do is open a vista account. Then you can either have them direct deposit or you can deposit the cheques from the machines on property. They will not pay in cash, though. That would be too much for them to deal with. They give out 55,000 cheques a week ya know!
Or get a suntrust account and get direct deposit with online banking in case u wanna check ur account
