I noticed on Yummy's facebook group page that it says that in order to take part in the CRP you have to have a UK passport, i have an irish passport but was born and live in the UK....does anyone know if this is still ok?? I was gonna email yummy but i thought that someone here might know already before i bother them!

I'm entitled to get a UK passport so i will if not having one is going to stand in my way, but i want to check before i pay for another passport!!

I wouldn't have thought it made much difference having an Irish passport rather than a UK one? It might come down to Visa issues though, I'm not sure. Just to warn you though, new passports are rather expensive. £72 in fact. (I just checked directgov website, lol) You might also want to check your entitlement... they have some pretty bizarre rules on passport entitlement. You're probably ok, but it never hurts to check.

It shouldn't be a big deal, you're gonna have to pay some fees for paperwork though. You'll have to process everything with the British embassy and prove that you are a british citizen and apparently that's gonna take time and money. At least that's what they told me when i applied as i had a similar issue, i was applying for Italian CRP with a British passport..in the end i just got an italian passport cause it was SO much easier.

Thanks for your help guys! I checked that website and although they do have some really strange rules, from what i understand i should be able to get one! Obviously don't want to spend £72 but if it's gonna get difficult then i'd rather just get one...sometimes i'm confused about my citizenship!! :p

I'd be confused about my citizenship in your place as well, don't worry.

haha dont worry about it! I'm from Northern Ireland and so have both UK and Irish citizenship! Confusion? I just went through everything with Disney with my UK passport rather than my Irish one tho just coz it seemed easier!
