    Hey guys,

All of my living family members are going to be going to Florida in January, and they want to know, if they buy a 7 day pass, will it be i.d.'d to them. I know that they thumbprint season passes to people, but do theydo it for week passes to? If anyone could help me out, that would be great! Thanks!

I understand its been introduced across all passports now, not just annual! So yes a 7 day ticket would be included in the scans.

    Hi Chase,

Jacqueline here (Canadian Classic). Not sure how big your family is, but you will also have your Disney I.D. with you, that will get three people into the park with you. Not sure if it's the same thing as when I was there....it should be, but all you have to do is give them your pass, and tell the cast-member you're also letting three people in with you. You'll be told all of this when you get there. Check with a manager as well. It might be able to save your family a couple of bucks anyway! You'll also get a discount for them if they stay at a Disney resort! Good luck!!

    @ Colin

I looked into it, and thats what I have been told. Thanks for the help!

    @ Jacqueline

There will be close to 20 or so, so the free pass theory could help out a little bit. Every little bit helps, it can go towards turkey legs :D! They will be staying in a timeshare for a week, and a rented house for a week. Does the timeshare work the same as a resort? Is it on a resort? I'm not very informed on timeshares, sorry... Well, I'll talk to you soon

If you mean one of the Disney Vacation Club Resorts then, as far as I know, it works just like a normal resort. The DVC properties are quite swanky too from what I know!

If you need info on the DVC, try this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disney_Vacation_Club

    Hope that helps!

  10. hey, I have a question too,
I know we get ourselves and 3 other people free into the parks for up to 12 days in one year after we pass our 3 month probation. But do we on our own get free passes? Any limited number of days we're allowed to go into the parks? I sure hope not!

    Hey Guys,
My Family will be coming down January 17th,and leaving on I believe the 3rd of March. I am the 3rd smallest of the bunch, and I am 6 feet tall, 180 pounds, so we might stick out a little bit, lol... My mother and grandpa will be coming back down in March, but other than that, I don't think I'll be getting any visitors. We won't be taking over Orlando, just DISNEY!! We are very truly a Disney family. I'm a 4th generation Disney fanatic. My mother's house has more pictures of Mickey mouse, than it does of myself, my tiwn brother, or either of my sisters, because Disney IS part of our family.

I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the CMs themselves have unlimited access to the parks, its only if you have guests you have to use up your admissions... If that is not the case i'll need to get me an Annual Pass!!!

Colin, yup! That's it! CMs get unlimited access using their CM ID card.

And CMs can use their passes for anyone who wants to get in *nods* (within the 3 person limit, that is! :D)

Yep thats true- as soon as you get your Disney ID- usually traditions day (ours was the saturday after we arrived) you can get yourself into the parks free (MK, Epcot, MGM and DAK) but not the water parks. At the moment we get into the water parks half price though with ID, and you also get your 20% for merchandise and various other places. You're supposed to get your main gate after 3 months but cos of Happiest Celebration on Earth we all got ours early- don't know whether that will continue to be the case. You can sign up to 3 other people in for 12 days of the year. They then get a days hopper pass and they can then get into the parks independant of you. However you need to be careful who you sign in (i.e. don't sign in randoms ;)) cos if they do something bad then you'll get into trouble. You get 12 sign-ins per annual year- i.e. you will get a new 12 in january. Definitely a nice perk ;D

    HELLO GUYS!!!
    I HAVE A QUESTION.
DO U KNOW IF THE SAME THING APPLIES FOR MEXICANS?, I MEAN, I'M TALKING ABOUT PASSES..... IF ANY OF U CAN HELP ME, THAT WILL BE GREAT, I'LL BE ON F&B, AT THE MEXICAN PAVILLION.
CHASE, WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY CHARACTER?

    YOUR MEXICAN FRIEND!!!

Depends....some people work for Disney, some people work for an alliance company-like in Japanese pavilion they work for Mitsukoshi- I forget what technical name they use! I don't know for sure whether these get all the perks that Disney employees get- but I think so!

    Hi Chase,

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I'm not sure myself if timeshares work the same way as the Disney resorts.....I'm almost sure they don't. But it wouldn't hurt to check it out. You have a large chunk of family comin' down to visit you!! Have fun with them!!

thanks guys, your helping me so much! I don't know what I do without you guys!

    @ Medardo

My favourite Disney Character, would have to be Goofy. He is most like me, except I'm not quite as clumsy, only a little bit...;)

    @ Jacqueline

No worries, bud ;)! I'm sure we will have fun. My grandpa has a 250 dollar bet with me that I can't catch an anaconda, and bring it to him, so we will have to see about that. It shall be interesting...I don't know if any of you have ever ran into an anaconda before, but they are pretty powerful beasts, and when they bite you, it feels kinda like getting caught in a rabbit snare. Its not a good feeling, so I'll have to sneak up on him... :D! Well, we'll see when I get down there...
