I need some help picking a party theme!! I need to organise a social for a society I'm in charge of, and I want it to be extra memorable by having a theme. It needs to be somthing really easy and cheap to do though. Help!

Ok, It's not on your list but I think that a Mad Tea Party is also a fun theme and is kind of cheap

How much nudity is allowed. Strange question to ask but it is because of this theme:

    Rubix Cube

You come dressed in various items of clothing, each item is a different colour from the rubix cube. The idea is to swap clothes with people until you have items that are all one colour! The first person to do it is the winner!

    that is a cool idea!

i always love superhero ideas. or 50s..just so you can get the trillby out.

have you thoguht of 80s tv/film? so you could have a mr t and a doc (back to the future).

I would have thought a Pirate and princess where the girls are pirates and the guys are princesses...

That could work with the barbie and action man thing too, gender swap!

Wild in Africa is the most original :)

The most fun theme I ever did was an OAP theme. Walking sticks and head scarves at the ready! We all wore talc in our hair hehe, and one of the guys consented to going as an old lady (silly boy!) and me & one of my friends put curlers in his hair and everything- so fun! And its cheap & easy- just have a group trip to a charity shop!

wow that looks fun!! I hadn't ever thought of that!!

We did rubix cube last year, was SO much fun. Works best if you get to know each other a bit better first though... lol

I think i'm going to go with Pirates and Princesses for now, then maybe do wild in africa next time.

haha I'd have to go as a shop keeper to that one!

In past cheerleading socials I've done cavegirls, builders, painters and decorators, 80's Madonna, Egyptians, lifeguards....so many!

We did a "When I Grow Up I Want To Be..." social at the end of the year... sorta fitting for graduating students ;D I didn't end up dressing up (BOO!) but I was planning on going as an archaeologist hahaha (I was a strange child)

When i was younger i wanted to be a lawyer! So i could dress up as that.

When i grow up i want to be a doctor or a teacher or a broadway leading man or a Disney executive. Now this could on and on.

I want to go to a costume party, ive never been to one that isnt Halloween!

Hehe well its not strange for an adult to want to be an archaeologist (I still watch "Time Team"!) but it was a little bit odd for a five-year-old to even be able to pronounce the word, let alone know what it was and want to be one! :D That's so cool, though. Do you go on field trips to archaeological sites and things??

I would love that job but i have not done geography since i was 14, hehe.

I would put on a volcano shirt or something like that, "I <3 volcano's"

We should have a CRP/ICP themed party in Florida, that is if us ICP's make it!
