Hey! Do cast members (that are in the Int. Program) have free access to all the parks?? Or do we get a cheap rate ???
Correct, but water park admission is usually discounted (by up to 50%) for CMs. CMs also get a Main Gate Pass, which provides 12 (not sure if this is still accurate) days per calendar-year of park entry for your family or friends. Andy
But only IPs get a Main Gate...ICPs don't. And the 50% water-park discount isn't always for the full day; it depends on the season. In the summer it's discounted for admission after 1pm only. (On the other hand, if you're water park cast, you get in free all day )
@Andy - so if i sign my folks into the Magic Kingdom can they go into MGM later on without me being there
yes babe.....all u have to do is sign them in and then they can go to any disney park and u dont have to go with out them cuz its just like a regualar park hopper ticket love sarah xxx
hey thats cool! so you could go with them to MK in the morning then you go to work and your family or whoever could go to AK or MGM later on?.......... Do they get actual passes when you sign them in? Do you do it at the main gate or somewhere else? (sorry, loads of questions...) Thanks for the info Sarah!
yeh once u sign them in ur family can go to which ever disney park they like....the cast members get a main gate card and then the guys at the front of the park swipe the card and then ur family or whoever u sign in get a regular hopper ticket love sarah xxx
no worries guys.....the main gate passes are really useful when ur family or friends come over.....it saves them loads of money.....which they can then spend on u love sarah xxx
Just beware, Participants don't get them!!! So if you work for Chef de France, or Alfredo's, or in Japan, China or Morocco (I think) or, like me, in HRC in the UK, you don't get a maingate pass.....and I'm very bitter about that!!! Ellen x x x
I think it's that a normal IP CM is employed directly by Disney. A participant is employed by a company who Disney contracts in to run... something... a restaurant or some such. K
That's it. In Epcot, certain pavilions are run entirely by Operating Participants; in others, only little bits, like HRC in UK, are. In other parts of the resort, OPs play a really big role - Downtown Disney being the main example: McDonalds, Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood, Wolfgang Puck, etc etc!
At my face2face interview, in our presentation Jeff said that sometimes the water parks have free days for the CM's. He said you just have to watch out for them and see if they come up. But most of the time, I think he said it was around 15$ dollars to get in.....
yeah, and if you go after a certian time it's ever cheaper I think........ There are so many CM perks it's INSANE!
At peak, summer time, the waterparks are half price (about $15): but only after 1pm. If you want to arrive earlier, CMs outside recreation do have to pay the full price . I understand that at other times, you can get half price entry all-day, and when it's very quiet, free entry.
