Hi guys, sorry to trouble. Ive got my interview tommorow and I have booked train tickets to Paddington station. How far is the embassy from here? I am REALLY worried that i am on the opposite side of London
Hi Chris, Its not far at all, about a 20 minute walk, your best bet is probably to catch a taxi from the station to the Embassy, be about £6-12 as at least getting home you wont be so stressed. The interview is pretty straightforward so im sure you will be fine. When are you leaving for disney? I see your from Swansea, im at the uni there.... anyway i hope this info helps, taxi is probably ur best bet, not to sure about the tubes myself although you could look at the underground maps online. ki
Hi, Thanks for your help. I took yours and Lindseys advice and caught a taxi there from the station. Cost £6 which was well worth it. Also bit of advice for anyone who hasn't had their photo's taken yet - There is a little photo shop, inside a chemist a few seconds away from the embassy which does it for £4.99 which is cool. The interview was straightforward as you say ... They asked me who lives in my house, and can I prove if I am coming back to study. I was queing for ages, but once I got inside, I was in and out in half an hour, even after missing my number being called I booked my train for 8.15 to come back to Swansea ... Unfortunately, I was finished by 4.15! Managed to get on the 6.45 to Swansea though which was cool. Good luck all, see you in Disney ... If I get my Visa that is!
