Packing Problems lol!!

I've put a similar post in the alumni room so i do apologise,

but basically I'm thinking about what I really need to take and keep thinking of the most obvious things that I am bound to forget and was wondering if others were doing the same!!

What is important to you to remember and what do you think you'll get out there??

I have to say my email address- just so you can keep me up to date on all the fun stuff that's happening there and in case I actually get the call!!!
Otherwise I would say your passport and money, lets face it you can buy everything else there!!

im packing already.im trying not to take to much but its real hard not too.....im not taking any teddys ( : )as ill get them out theer.

ot too mnay swim suits ..or shoes........im getting my work shoes out there..But im buying sandels here.

not taking too much clothing....need to bring a suit for the second day i think and if you want to go to the lectures.

hmm im bringing fotos of family and friends.....
bring all ur impiortant stuff in ur handluggage.........toilettries id buy them here,,,,my suitcase is gettin too full....its mauinly shorts and t-shiorts I hope we dont get any serious wether,,,im not taking bedding...ill get it there!.well im actually changing m,y mid as we speak muight take my disney one................nah ill buy them in wall-mart.

im taking a hat....proberly buy another one.......i dont want to take many shoes.....i have mostly trainers at mo,,,,,cant be bothered with high shoes at uni..

hmmmm i love packing (for hiolidays that is)

take something to remind u of home..thats what im doing,,not to much tho...i even wanna take my orlando things (crazy I know) but orlando will be my home (at least for a little while YAYA))

lol @ u guys, im packin already, and i have 12 weeks 2 go!!

but hair straighteners, phone chargers, universal plugs *cheaper in uk than us* erm,,, just get in touch anna with anythin else!

did they not tania!? i took my ceramics in 2003 when i last went and they were fine so hmmf, dont know, im takin mine anyway!

btw people boots sell the US travel adapters think they £2.99 which is cheap

hair straigntners.......i defo need to get some...i aint lookin like a bush....dunno bout anyone else but when im in the heat with my hair it goes wild....

yeah defo get the adapters boots hava good travel section *well in my local they do* with all things like adapters, portable kettles, hairdryers etc etc, but i know the adapters r pretty good il b gettin them!

but yeah humidity and my hair = BIG NO NO! lol

heat or no heat my hair goes puff after every wash!!!! but do u think u could get gud hair straightner out there?????

 

definately i reckon theyll b cheaper as well, i been lookin on www.walmart.com etc 2 c what they have lol. but i have 2 take mine with me anyway i aint havin curly hair when i get there no way!

ive seen there selection of hair straightners!!they have great ones....im gunna buy mine here..as i m a bit lazy and cant be bothered putting in a adapter so i can use it in UK (obviously i will ti di uit visa versa ;D ;D)

oohh i forgot about hairdryer..yeah im taking my extra small hairdryer,,so it does not take up precious luggage space

same as me im takin my anti frizzin hairdryer LOL, anythin 2 help the cause! but yeah i wana take one with me lol, but then if u buy an american one u can buy a US to UK adapter in boots/in the states as well!

Tink – how organised are you?!?!?!

I’m trying to get organised, but I keep thinking ‘ooh what about this that and the other, hence the topic!!’

I’m trying to be practical but I wanna bring some home comforts as well – my bear (named Shay lol) is definitely coming with me – and I saw some flags in Clintons today which I think would be cool for my room, along with random photos.

I still can’t believe I’m thinking about packing and I’m actually going, its so mad

I have heard that ghd’s don’t work out there and I brought another set of ceramic straightners before I last went out there – I may get a set out there though, if thwey heat up quicker!! Same goes with hair dryer, its pointless taking my one as it doesn’t work properly.

Argh excitement lol!!

Im gonna buy some hair straightners out there as mine didnt heat up enough when I took em. Cant really get GHDs but you can get really similar (at about the same price as GHDs )

mine were charles worthington ones from boots, were £80 reduced down to £40 and they r really good, on offer in boots at min at that price, so may buy them again as ive broken the others... over use! lol

im buyin work shoes there, is easier to get with the disney standards if we know recommended places from fellow CMs, although im gona ask chelle when i spk 2 her nxt!
