I love going to City Walk. When we went to Universal we stayed in one of the hotels on the river and we were able to just walk there or take a boat, I loved it.

City Walk sounds nice. Could you plz tell me where City Walk is. HOw do you go from Disney to CIty Walk?

 

It’s at universal studios, its there downtown Disney. It connects there parks and hotels all together. They have a bunch of restaurants like, like Jimmy Buffet's margaritaville, Bob Marley - A Tribute to Freedom, Pat O’Brien’s, and the Hard Rock Café. You also have a Movie theater, a ton of shops, and a few clubs. I can’t remember how far away it was, something like 30 mins from Disney maybe.

 

Awww I love City Walk!! Went to see Terminator 3 there with my sisters! my mum thought it was funny that she takes us to a theme park and we go to the cinema then shopping! haha!

What is City Walk?????

 

city walk is universals equivalent to downtown disney, with shops, restaurants etc.

yeah its about 20-30mins from disney, straight up international drive, up east on the I4 takes u straight there

Personally i recon downtown Disney is better but me and my family didnt spend much time at City Walk so will hav to investigate durin my 3months. That sounds such a long glorius times 3months ;D lol

Yeach. I'm very impressed by Sarah how familiar she knows the place. I have to INVESTIGATE City Walk and those places recommended by you guys too during my 3 months. It sounds FUN. I can't wait for it.

 

Yeah!! It's a fun place city walk, but downtown Orlando is GREAT!!! There are some nightclubs on Church Street, and it's really good for partying!!!

 

orlando night life..........well may not appeal to all of u...but im going skull kingdom to be scared woot woooooooooooooooowahooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D..oh and i hopefully can gofor a swim at night love it!!!!!!!!!!!

 

for those over21 - Chillers/Latitdes/Big Belly (3 floors of diff bars) was great on wednesdays - cheap drinks ;D - Chillers is bascially like a studenty bar where they sell about 25 types of Alcoholic slush puppie!
Big Belly has a barrel of peanuts, cheesy music and pic's of people on the wall with ..erm..big bellies!
Lattitudes is on the 3rd floor and is open air roof top bar lit by torches.

Icon and Tabu were good for everyone  - ladies nights were quite common too (girls no cover charge and couple of free drinks! )

Best club on Disney Property is House of Blues by far... sitting on the porch at the back talking to the cool palm reading lady ;D

Bob Marley Place at Universal is relaxed - good live music too.
TIP - do a bar crawl round City Walk in the afternoon - the drinks are sooooooooo cheap! theyll try anything to get ppl in the bars!!!

 

Ooooooooohhhhhhh................Chillers!!!! Such good memories! Remember us two getting a lift all the way back to the Commons that night from those random lawyers!!! That was a good night!

You forgot to mention Jellyrolls for all those over 21!

How could i forget Jellyrolls?!?! - leaving your uniform in your locker on a tuesday night and quickly changing back into it on a wednesday morning - we were so lucky worked next to International Gateway
