Did anyone go to an optician while they were out there? I'm just wondering whether it is easier to take all the contact lenses I need out there or go to an optician once I get there and sign up for lenses with them. Plus what if I lose/break my glasses? I'm thinking I should probably go to someone out there... just incase of something rash like an eye infection or something. I'm imagining every possible scenario on this trip haha. Anyone with any experience in this area? Ben
I only went for the summer so I took all the contacts I'd need plus a few extras (and I good thing, I lost one my first day of training!). You could probably just take your prescription though and get it filled at walmart I'd imagine if you'll need more? As for the rash idea...haha let's just hope that doesn't happen, I'm sure you'll be able to find someone good if it does, but it isn't very likely. I wore my contacts all the time down there, it's much less of a hassle if you lose one than it would be if your glasses broke!
