Did anyone else notice on the application on the Yummy jobs website, it seemed to only mention F&B and Merchandise. Also, there's not much discussion about operations/attractions on the forums for the CRP. Granted, not all the pavilions have attractions, but I was wondering if perhaps that was a separate entity now recruited by someone else? Anyone know?
I just looked at Yummy Jobs website and it still mentions it. Heres what Yummy Jobs say: "Participants in this program from the UK and Canada will work in Food and Beverage, Attractions, Kidcot, or Merchandise at one of the themed pavilions at Epcot's World Showcase."
I must've missed that. I could have sworn though that on the actual application (unfortunately, I can't go back in and check) it didn't mention attractions. Or maybe I'm just losing my mind ;D
Yeah I think I remember seeing something like that Matt on the actual application. Maybe they have a little overflow of attractions people? Or they save that for people on the waiting list even? I'm sure if anybody really wanted it, they could just request it in the phone/face-to-face interview.
That's true... I was just curious. As much as I would love to spend my days with Martin Short and Eva Avila, I think I'd still prefer F&B.
I heard somewhere too that they offer positions in Guest Relations to CRP's... does anyone know if this is true???
I emailed Yummy asking about Guest Relations a few weeks ago because that's what i'd love to do, but they said that they currently only offer those positions to people from non-english speaking countries!
Ah, that's too bad. I remember the Guest Relations CM's, they all had huge ribbon type things attached to their name tags telling what country they were from. I think that would be pretty fun!
Blasphemy! We'll change their minds! Maybe I'll pretend to speak with a french accent? hmm A little franglais goes a long way!
haha...i hope so because then surely being able to say "close the door please", in a few languages would count too...i'm sure that would be useful at some point!!
I already know how to stay "please stand clear of the doors" in spanish just from the monorail spiel! Well on my way then I guess!
I need a Disney wardrobe. Period. I don't have enough. Then I would have something AWESOME to wear every single day on vacation! Really, I have like one Dis shirt that I'll wear out and about, the rest I sleep in... not acceptable!
