Does anyone know anything about opening a bank account. I know that the banking works a bit different to in the UK (no direct debits and you pay for cheques) Can anyone reccomend a bank and how easy is to open an account with a debit card? Thanks Sally
Yea as far as i know we open an account with Vista Credit Union, which is a company which is used solely by Disney CMs and family of CMs, go to vistafcu.org for more info! Hope ive got this right! Jo xx
Sally isn't doin the IP/CP so there is a Sun trust bank in the disney area which is probably better for you. i think its kinda easy to open, with us workin 4 disney we get told how to do it in the first few days, i know you need a US social security number and american addy in order to open it! hope that helps xxx

Hey no panic, the Housing people will tell you all about that in your first days. They will even take you to the place where you get your social security number and even to the bank I think. It is no problem at all. They take care of pretty much everything, I mean they know what has to be done. Julia

Hi guys and thanks for the nice replies... Our visa interviews are on the 12 April in Belfast and we are going to resort within a week after that ! Starting to get quite nervous now. Lived away for the last 2 summers but always get like this before I go ! Will completly talk myself out of it a week before I go but then will be fine ! Apparently the reps tend to go PI on monday night so would be cool to see you there and to go shopping etc will be cool Sally
Aw Sally that sounds like how i am before i go abroad to work/study etc... Its really helped this time being able to talk to people b4 i go - though ive got just under 3 months - so i'll probably be nervous by June! Im sure we'll all be hitting PI on Monday nights - cant wait! Will be fun to meet people living in orlando doing different things xxx
