Ok I know I am getting ahead of myself but...

I was looking at flight prices and they are in the region of 800! Arrrgh!!!! I tried sta/ba/aa/virgin
(and I was quite proud of myself as I have never been on a plan before and managed to find names of airports that fly Scotland to Orlando) ok I’m sad. Anyway, they are all sooo expensive. I will be 26 in a couple of weeks and therefore if I went next year would not be a student and not be under 26 to get a discount with sta. Anyone got any tips/advice etc?

And I know I haven’t even applied yet lol, and I am not thinking I’m def getting in (as if) just need to work out how much this whole experience is going to cost me including savings to take over there, so I know I can afford it.

i would look into train or flight to london and then flight from there that would reduce cost to around £550-£650 - flying direct from scotland will be more expensive - you could go with thomas cook or virgin from london for around £450-£550 and flight scotland to london or train iticket for around £75 if you book in advance - you could also book into someone where like travelodge for the night before again if you book in advance and sign up to their emasil list you can get rooms for £9 a night

dont forget tho if you complete the programme you get \ll the money back so the more you spend going out the more you get coming back - you can also claim for the internal flights or trani to london to fly but not the hotel

unless you get offered someones unfinished contract you should have enough time to get the ebst fairs in advance

indirect flights can soemtimes be cheaper but you have to weigh that up against convenience
