Gonna add myself to your little group.I'm doing F&B btw! Was completely stunned when I found out, and thought it was very cool that we found out exactly 6 months before we get to go out there. Think my mind is on fast forward planning now!

Woo, hey Em sorry I missed you out there - looks like it is the fab four you're right! This still hasn't sunk in yet it's all too surreal. I feel like I need to wait for something...

Where will all you guys be flying from anyway, and would you be planning to go out quite a few days before our start date? How exciting huh?! ;D

 

I'm not 100% sure on what to do, the flights I've seen would land in Orlando round 5pm (if you were leaving here at 9am).
I'm not sure if it'd be best to go out a day or so before hand and fling off the jet lag and also get preps for moving in on the 12th.

What's everyone else doing? xx

 

I think it would probably best to go a few days before, suppose it gives you time to sort the jet lag and nip over to Wal-Mart for a few bits and bobs. You can get a hotel on I-Drive for next to nothing a night. I'd be flying from Manchester and they're showing up at £330 with Delta via ATL which I thought was a good deal!

Some of my friends the other year went to New York for a month and travelled with no luggage and just bought everything over there which was pretty epic. I'm not doing the same thing but I'm seriously considering just taking a few clothes and essentials with me and then getting bits and pieces when we're over there. xx

 

Ha yeah, why not? I'd buddy-up it saves doing the journey alone - anyone else flying from Mancs? We could do a group arrival! I must admit I'm pretty bad for packing, hmmm... I take everything except the kitchen sink. I forget they have shops in America lol!

 

This is very true and it will be the first time I've flown in 10yrs and the first time on me own so I am kinda worried about the change overs lol.

Nope I got absolutely nothing, I was bit worried over that because I've not heard anything to say she's received it. Have you?

 

Naw me neither but I'm guessing then it's alright. She'll probably call us next week sometime...maybe lol xx

 

Took her a while to reply to me but when she did she also tried to sort out the dates of my phonecall so it might be that she's waiting till she's got more time after the phone interviews are done x

 

Yep the lack of non contact is disconcerting but I bet they're mega busy with phone interviews and all. Sadly I will be flying from Gatwick as I'm from down south, but I'm sure we'll all meet up once we arrive. Don't know if you can arrive earlier than the 18th with regards to the visa and all, but could be possible. I've sent a friend request for both of you on fb.
I just want it to be october now! mind is on constant fast forward! x

Well if you two are flyin out together and me and Dan end up catching the same flight out then I wouldn't see a problem meeting you guys at the airport on the other side =D sharing a taxi over to vista to get our keys ^_^ xx

 

It's a plan! I think it might be worth looking into, when do you guys intend on flying out? I'm sure you can fly out up to thirty days before your visa, so it would be awesome to go a few days before and make a mini vacation out of it, get sorted etc.
