Please help! Gemma
You intending to take a mobile over there? I would imagine thats a very expensive way about it, I intend (if I get the job) to put my contract phone onto Pay as you go whilst I am in America just to keep the number, get my parents to use it once every couple of months just to keep it active, and then get a mobile phone whilst in America. If the same as Orange, whilst I visited america, I had to pay about 30p per text I sent, then the standard charge, which would come out of bundled texts if I had any. Calls were 120p per minute if you made the call, 60p/min if you received. Is that what you are asking or have I misunderstood. I don't think UK Pay as you Go phones work in the USA (I know Orange don't) Couldn't comment on T-Mobile. (Or do you mean get a US T-Mobile?) Colin
well seen as tho i have to pay £16 a month whatever then was jst weighin up which is goin to b best... i think its probably gna b gettin a tmobile(US) sim card! i dont want a brick tho!! like my nokia 6230i!!
cant they put ur contract on hold? like if u explain that u are going to be out of the country for a year u could just make an agreement to fulfill ur contract wen u get back?! im sure one of the girls who lived next door to me in greece did that!
*points* I'm gonna go through fonepool.com and just get the sim card. Also means I get to take my supersexy phone And my college gets $10 extra credit cos the guy who runs it knows someone in UCC... So it's all good! K
