The applications seem to be flooding in now by the sounds of things, and concidering some of us will be meeting in person at the interviews in November, and then some of us actually working for the mouse together in a little over a year......its probably about time we got to know who is who!

I suggest we all drop a post about ourselves...to get the ball rolling...i'll start!

    ---

My name is James Collins, 17, from Newport in South Wales. Currently studying for a/s levels in Physics, Geography and Psychology (fun!). I plan on taking a year out in between school and uni (with this - fingers crossed!), and then plan later on to apply for the RAF as a Fighter Control Officer.

I love music, couldnt live without the stuff, play in a punk/emo band gigging around south wales. I also hold a pilots licence, so spend most of the fine weathered days on weekends somewhere above your heads! I also love windsurfing, being a good friend, parties etc, reading and keeping myself in...well....an attempt to keep myself in good shape!

Want to apply for F&B, visit the place every year and seems like the kind of work for me. Would be gutted beyond belief if i got refused! :(

cant wait to hear about the rest of u guys :)

All from me, sorry to bore you - over and out!

    J.

    Fab idea James. :D

Hey my name is Jessica Clapham, 21, from Lincolnshire. Spent 3 years at University of Teesside in Middlesbrough completing a degree in BA(Hons) Leisure Management and now doing a MSc in Management at the same uni. I hope eventually to be an entertainments manager on a cruise ship (also known as a cruise director). If i do succeed in representing the UK in 2006/2007 i would love to then work for DCL after and therefore get my foot in the door and hope to work my way up!

At the moment my time is shared between doing work for my masters, working part time for my students union, and of course spending money I dont have (no student loan) on clubbing and socialising with friends!!!

Have never even been to America let alone WDW but have dreamed of going since as early as I can remember so i hope my dreams and wishes will soon be answered and will be heading out in 2006 to represent the UK.

Anyway I am sure I have gone on for long enough.

    Take care

    Hey there,

My name is Kerry Seager, and I'm 19 from the (not so) sunny south coast (Portsmouth). I couldn't stand full time college (to many slackers) so i am now a trainee accountant, which includes a part time college course, I've almost finished my mordern apprenticship and then have one more year to get my AAT. I am a THIRD time re-applyer and am hopeing its 3rd time lucky!  Since being rejected a second time I have started at Chicago Rock Cafe, Im finding it really hard, but if its for Disney its worth it!

I don't have alot of time for anything other that work, work and homework at the moment so my social life is nothing to rave about  :(. Although I have just bought myself a FAB new camera so I taking as many pics as possible when I can!

I've been to Florida twice, when I was 10 and 16.  Love it there and love everything American. Theres so much space!!

    Disney wishes!

Hi, Im Sarah Borland, im 17 from Yeovil in Somerset (really exciting place ::)!) Really getting bored of education, but im on an AVCE Travel and Tourism course at the moment - finishes in July (finally). I have a saturday job at a department store, and I do loads of other voluntary stuff. I would love to end up working at an airport, most people think im crazy for that idea but I love the atmosphere of airports - everyone going off on holiday, and happy happy people - occasionly a moody person as well i guess!

I love to sing and dance (jazz dance especially). I really would like to be in musicals but i don't really have the time at the moment! I like the  Usual stuff like socialising with friends and everything else.

I have been to WDW once before with my family when I was 14 or 15, can't remeber. But I loved the disney thing about it, and spent most of my time acting like a big kid - I cringe big style at the photos and video! But I love theme parks, and big rides, getting chucked upside down really fast is totally my thing!

One thing you should know about me is that I love to travel! I have been to China, Belguim, France, Spain, Greece, Morocco, Gibralter, and Florida. My dream destination would be Madagscar, as my fave animal are ring tailed lemurs, and It would be a dream come true to see them wild! I would also love to go on a round the world cruise - but that will have to wait until I hit 50!

I would probably like to work in merchandise, as I could see myself doing that - Disney smile ready and waiting!

Going to apply soon - May probably, so everyone Good luck!

    Sarah ;D

I know I was always saying that and then college arranged a trip, and I went crazy! I loved it! We kept being followed which was a bit freaky - everywhere we went we had people staring at us because it was quite obvious we were foreigners! We went to Beijing, and Xian, and we saw loads in the week that we were there - Tiannemon Square, the Forbidden City, the Terrecota warriors, and the Great wall, were the best. We were meant to go to a school, but we coulden't as it was closed. It was totally fab, I took about 6 cameras worth of photos! Ive got some pics on the computer, I will see if it lets me put some on here - don't be suprised if it dosn't!

    Tania - u should apply!

    Sarah :D

thats me on the bottom of the great wall, and i apoligize for the really scruffy look - it was really cold, and i was trying to keep warm - thats an american woman behind me - she was really annoying! she followed us up to the next tower, and was like this is too hard, im giving up - all our group got to the highest section at that point - amazing views that pic wouldn't load.

It's a pity that you didn't have time to go and visit Hong Kong. Hong Kong is a wonderful city. There is distinctive blend of East and West in this dynamic city.YOu can find both western buildings [ Victorian buildings]and traditional Chinese buildings here. I'm sure you will love it when you come here.
Things here are very cheap. A pant or a skirt only costs you HK$ 40 dollars. You can imagine how cheap things are when learning the low currency : US$ 1= HK 7.9. AND HOng Kongers and tourisits Do NOT have to pay Tax.

You can check this out at
    http://www.discoverhongkong.com
    Enjoy it.

Hope you will visit Hong KOng one day. Hong Kong ALWAYS welcomes you.
