November 9th in Glasgow...?

Anyone going to be there on the 9th of November at Glasgow Met College for the Face to Face? ;D (this may have already been asked but I don't check the forum that often)

hey folks i thot i was the only scottish person on this forum not met any yet! are yous going for your interview in glasgow? i had mine in march and im heading out Dec 5th its getting very close now! what placement will you be doing?

hey kerry, yeah im doing that cultural rep placement too im gona be in food and beverage, i hope you get it i think disney is seriously lacking Scottish people, the interview is really cool if you wernt sure about the job beforehand you'll definitely want it really bad afterwards!!!
Its weird to think you guys could be coming out and il have been there 2months (im sure you all will!)

anyone want to meet outside the college and get lost together trying to find where the presentations/interviews are? I'm coming through from Perth so I know I'm going to end up there early. No way am I letting a remote possibility of a train problem ruin anything!

I'm getting excited about the interview now, two more days! I've got all my friends crossing everything they can for me

 

I plan to be there pretty damn early as well... can just imagine getting lost in that joint and walking in 10 minutes late! Keep walking past it on my way home from uni and as the interview gets closer it keeps looking bigger and easier to get lost in :'(

 

hey - yeah il meet up with you if you want - i have a fear of getting lost aswell!!!!!!!!! im getting a train or taxi from my sisters in annieland - so i think il be there by 12ish - shall we just all meet inside the main enterance/hallway/reception?? Hello everyone!!! how did you all feel about today??? i think i did ok .... being interviewd in pairs kinda threw me a little - it made me a bit more nervous i think (altho James was really nice!!) and i kinda fluffed up on a few questions,i had to give 3 words to describe myself and after i said 2 my mind just went blank!!! i sat there for about 2 minutes just going "ummm,ahh,ummm ........im not sure....!" NIGHTMARE!!!!! apart from that i think i did the best i could have ..... the next 3 weeks are going to kill me waiting for an answer!!!! Anyway,good luck to everyone,keep us all posted with how we get on!!!! Kerry xx

I thought today went ok, was very nervous but after the presentation felt alot better
Also won a pack of stickers and they are so cool

at the time I thought it went okay. I have a tendancy to over-analyse afterwards, and the longer the wait the more I start to think about the negative bits. There are a few things I wish I'd said, but more to add into what I said rather than replacing it. I also think I may have been a bit too serious once in the room, I don't know. an't chnage anything now anyway

Siobhan and I both seemed to enjoy it though, I think! Quite a good match up. Let's hope they decide to go with the first 8 people they saw!

Seeing everything, and watching the presentation just makes me want it more. It's horrible when you look at something and just want to scream "I can do that! I'd be great!" and then you have to wait for others opinions on it!

And going out for summer would be great, the perfect timing to get two summers out of the trip!

 

I also still love the fact that after saying about putting 'amateur juggler' on the special skills bit that I won the IP ball/hackey-sack in the quiz!

...

I hate the waiting thing... wish they could tell us now :-\

 

Yeah... I'm a big over analyst as well... So I'm not saying anything about the interview other than that it didnt go horribly. That'll suit me until I hear their decision :-\
It's worse than waiting for exam results!

How did yous all get on in the interviews? I remember how i felt waiting for the phone call afterwards so i know how yous will be feeling!!!!! I thot i was gonna explode with anticipation!!! Wish yous all the best and hopefully see yous out there.
