Hi ! a friend told me that the commons are so full that they send her to live to another place with US people and they r going to change her until november.... Is this very common?? Are they many chances to be in the same situation?
Could happen. It's happened before. There are times of the year when they may have an overlap of more people than they have space. So, they have to put you somewhere. When I arrived there were a few Canadians that were living in Vista, but they were moved to the Commons as soon as space opened up. Shan
do you gusy reallly dont want to live anywhere else....i think it would be pretty cool cuz then u'd have to talk english the first few days/weeks and not your own language...... i wouldnt mind living with americans....they are fun *lol*....trust me....the only thing that could get on ur nerves would be their pride to their country but other than that the ppl i met so far were mostly fun, outgoing and just happy to say that they know someone from another country *lol*.....just look at it as a part of ur program....its just a lil( if it really is) obstacle ttyl, mandy
Hey all, we arrived an hour or so ago. Prince Charming carried my luggage tp my apartment for me!! Beth & I are living in the same apartment in Chatham Square and it's amazing. If we don't have to move to the Commons we won't be! Seriously, don't worry about being put here...we're right across the street and the apartments are gorgeous
Yep...only Mickey's Retreat is in the middle...it's an easier walk to Publix too. Nice to hear you made it there alive. Was never in Chatham, but always thought it looked nice. I would still make the move to the Commons, it's have the fun of the program. Shan
hey guys we made it wouhou its my second day here at the commons , im so tired and im sored too , anyways yesterday and today was lot of fun ... as for the appartments , half of our arrival group was put in the chatham and me and johanne an other canadiens were lucky enough to get into the commons i really would not have wanted to end up there , im in a 6 pple appart ment and its pretty cool here so good luck for you guys byebye joelle ----apt 1911----
I was one of the UK people put in the commons.. When we were told we were all a bit pooed off, but once Chloe and I saw our apartment we didn't care, Chatham Sq has nicer facilities and generally the apts are a bit nicer.. However, its not great being away from fellow IPs and its not great having to be signed in when visiting friends at the Commons after 9, and even worse having to be out before 1. Also we've heard some bad stories of people being attacked when walking home from The Commons to Chatham and that kind of puts you off visiting after hours :-\ Also, its a pain in the arse knowing your gonna be uprooted at some point in the near future.. we don't know whether to by a TV or not cauz we might have to split up soon, and we're reluctant to start settling in for the same reason.. so all in all it sucks, and is a bit on the unorganised side for Disney.. but it could be worse. x
Im really praying to be at the commons hehehehe but if not I´ll be happy to because they´re only like 2 months until Disney change you Cya in 26 days Olga
Hellooooooooooo, i'm in the commons and i love my apartment! Its really big and theres always random people in it, although my flatmates do have a habit of leavin the door on the latch... It is annoying tho having to sign people in and throw them out by 1
