Hi all, Question 1: Out of interest, do ICPers take part in their home country's throw ins, generally? Question 2: Are there throw ins for ICPers? Question 3: What about throw ins for people like meself-crazies who dont live in one of the Epcot/AK countries (I'm Irish. We dont get a pavilion )? Is there a throw in for us? Or do we throw ourselves in? :-\ Cos that can be arranged Kev Totally lovin' this cast member thing
Are you going to be living at the Commons, because if you are, there will be a throw in for you for sure -Nutmeg
Dont know yet. I'm not supposed to ring Yummyjobs till the 19th... Wont find out till then I suppose... So even though I'm not from a country where there are likely to be any other CMs from (I have a feeling I may be the only Irish CM this year at least...), there'll be someone to throw me in? Kev
Attractions on the ICP. Apart from that, I dont know yet. All I know until the 19th is that there is a job for me and it's in attractions. Kev
For the record, throw-ins (now that the internet has ruined the 'surprise' they once used to be) aren't really all that big of a deal . It's more fun for the people already down there - yet another excuse to party. I found that my whole year there, the new people that were getting thrown in were usually so tired from all the travelling they just did, and so generally overwhelmed, that the party went on long after the new people went back to their apartments. If you don't have one, you won't really be missing THAT much... you've got a whole year to meet people and party on a regular basis, that half way through your time there you won't remember your throw in anyways....there are plenty of bigger and better memories that will happen, I assure you!
If you aren't going to be working at Epcot they might put you in vista or chatham, cuz they've been doing that lately because the commons is apparently full... which is crap If you let the UK ppl know that you are coming you could probably go to their throw in and hang out with them while you're here... that is if you want to of course!!! The only problem if you don't end up living at commons is that you're supposed to be out of the commons by 1am!!! You can get around it, but it's not good if you're caught. -nutmeg
There were no throw-ins for the British ICPs this year...we were all housed at Vista, which I guess is why.
