Hi everyone, this is Cecilia, I just got the email from Disney which informed me that I have successfully got in the program, but currently there is no specific job arrangements and time, and I need to keep in touch with Disney. What does that mean? And how long do I need to wait? How about you guys? Coz I found that most of you guys are clear with the arrival date, etc.... Thank you very much! All the best
Sounds like a waiting list email to me...did they give you a date to wait till? On mine it said about being successful, but there not being any positions, they'd keep me on file and if anything came up they might get in touch, but it could be anywhere up until July 10. If not, just send whoever deals with your applications an email and ask them
Hello! Sounds pretty much like the waitlist (I would know, I was on it twice!) It may be that if someone leaves or gets terminated, you might take their visa. It could be a shorter contract, but that's better than no program at all! Or they might just need to see how busy the parks get and whether they are going to need any more people! Hope this helps a little bit. I know it sucks to wait, but it'll be worth it in the end!
Hello Emma I was finally able to bring myself to talk about Disney again Haha. I trust everything is well...ish at the R&C! I miss it so much I'm having withdrawal symptoms from being seperated from the Assigner board and I miss turning on the lights with you! Argh.
Hi Emma and Louisa, Thank you very much for your reply, I have sent email to ask for more info, and yes, I am waitlisted, they said 'congratulations' and 'successfully get in', but no openings at this moment. So they will put my file on application until March 2010! The worse is, they dont guarantee there will be a position for me.... Since I graduated last December, and now it is hard to make a decision, finding another job or wait at home, coz it might be no results. Anyway, thank you guys!! All the best, Cecilia
