ive just recieved an email from yummy jobs saying that due to the large amounts of applicants there wont be any more interviews for the cultural rep programme for another year. has anyone else received this email and what can i do instead?? what a bummer
I wonder how many people they need, compared to how many they are interviewing. You could apply to do the summer work programme
Are you sure you understood them right? Maybe they said there won't be anymore interview UNTIL next year ??? I know there are plenty of applicants from the UK and that the competition is huge for a job at the pavilion but they always have 2 interviews a year. Sounds a bit weird to me. :-\
I got the same email. It's harsh because I already applied for September 2007 start, and they told me they would interview me in February, but instead filled the positions in the last month. Anyway, there are other programs they are running which Alexis will tell you about if you email.
yeah, i think im gunna apply for the summer program but my intention was to take a year out from uni and go work away for the year..... not sure what to do now
i got an email in september that was more or less similar and said about the seasonal program for summer 2007 or i'd have to wait until july 2007 for consideration for cultural. I was to email back as to if interested in them. I responded that I'd wait on the cultural then a week later I was told I was getting a phone interview for this year... is possible it's similar again so I'd apply straight again maybe?
