Since you are on the College Program, are you at Chatham or Vista? rather than the Commons?

I'm in Vista Way! (with 5 other Canadians) It's great but I remember being told I'd live with people from different countries. Apparently people from other countries on the ICP program I've met so far also only live with people from their own countries. Is the cultural mixing just for the people in the Commons?

Anyways, can't wait for Traditions tomorrow and meeting all my co-workers later!

Hi, Meg, I think I saw you today when you came in with the other lifeguards!

I think they might put the College Program countries together. I think only Cultural Reps (who are all placed in the Commons) are integrated with other countries. In the COmmons your apartment will rarely have more that 50% of one nationality!

There's mixed cultures in all the accomodations really..But its just the look of the draw at the end of the day..They just usually put you where ever there's a free bed!

To the new Canadians on the College Program - WELCOME from a fellow Canadian, I wish the accomidations were closer or College Program and Cultural Rep people were closer together as a group! Be totally fun to make out Canadian Nights bigger!

I'm on the Summer Program, starting on June 24th, and was told that you're not allowed to request who your room-mate is (if you came with a friend or something) because they specifically want you mixing with other cultures but it seems that it is random.

  10. IT'S ALL FUN DON'T WORRY WHO YOUR ROOMATES ARE. IF YOU DON;T LIEK THEM THAN IT WILL BE ONLY YOUR SLEEPING GROUNDS THAN

You can request it when you arrive. they will try and accomidate!

  12. well, if you really don't like your roomates, the current rule is that you pay $50 for a switch/request fee and wait 3 weeks for the switch.

To TinkerBellWindsorPrincess, I love you too!!!

To PrincessAshi, Thank You! I live in Building #8 in Vista Way and apparently it's filled by mostly Canadians. There is talk about having a Canaidan Party on Canada Day!
