Hehe, I read a long article about a new Sea Worldish (DisneySeas) park on a myspace forum and got really excited.. only to discover it was an april fool (would have been cool though!)
There was lots of rumours while i was at disney that this was true.. Apparently rumour had it that the park would consist of thrill rides to try and compete with busch gardens and universal..
I also heard these rumors as well, with the same facts: Villain theme park with thrill rides... but I guess it's a secret no one really knows eh?
Yeah, i think its definetly believeable.. I even heard a date rumour of Spring 2010 for it..It was a castmember rumour obviously, which you can definetly expect with that there is a possibility its true.. Someone actually already started up a post about this exact same topic..i remember because i posted exactly the same things in it last time! haha..
I have heard rumours of a villain park too, but I also read somewhere that they supposedly dropped the idea as a park of just thrills would not be something for the whole family. It would not be very Disney I guess.
Yeah, I read on Screamskape a few months back that there were pencilled ideas for a villains park called 'Shadowlands', or a recreation of Tokyo DisneySea, the latter makes no sense as Orlando is nowhere near the sea, where the Tokyo park lagoons merge with the Pacific.
Yeah, i think they'll stick with the villains theme..but maybe not make it so much thrill rides and have it more for all the family i guess.. Still though, i think the thrill rides thing would be a good idea..As it would keep in with the villains theme..
Oooo and a Dudley-Doo-Rite-like log flume (slightly more intense than Splash Mountain!) themed around Ursula... Aww the possibilities are endless, clearly has to be done...
You could have the titans from Hercules, four different rollercoasters, fire, ice, wind and earth that go around a greek city.
