Hiya - welcome to the boards!

These boards will be VERY helpful in figuring out what to pack, what not to pack, insurance, money, working hours, etc. I can't imagine what it's like for people to head down to Florida without this site! It would be rather difficult and pretty scary I think!

if you learn how to rollerskate you'll have to teach me. i have always wanted to learn but i can hardly figure skate so have never tried (some Canadian i am not being able to skate :) ) about the driver's license i am not sure but if you have no french license then my guess is that you would just have to take the tests which young people in florida take to get their license for the first time.

if I am not alone who wants to learn how to roller blade; I propose to create a "club" there, That will be easier for me to be ridiculous learning it, with others !!! ;D

    Hi everyone!

I'm taking my rollerblades with me! I'll gladly show you guys how to use them, but I don't take the blame for any injuries ;)

Rollerblading in WDW is nice, especially at the resorts. The sidewalks on property and in the surrounding area are generally quite smooth as there aren't any harsh winters to deform the pavement! (See exhibit A: my pothole filled province. I'm from a province that is basically a sand dune and when the ground thaws every spring it kind of expands thus cracking some pavement and some of the sidewalks. Blah blah blah.)

    Hey Claudie!

I'm starting in Florida on September 6th!

your french is very good !!!
I ve already use roller blade 3 or 4 times, and I know how to go forward only !!!!! I don't have so much choice, i can't stop, go back, and the road must be flat :-\ !!
I think if you accept to show me how to stop and to use roller blade, you will have to be very patient with me ;)
