  1. Hello everyone! I've been totally obsessed with Disney since about age 3 (my first trip to Disneyland)
Anyways, I just emailed cast-a-way with my resume...forgot a cover letter :S but I'll just email them back hehe

I'm about half way done a travel and airline course at the tourism training institute, so if I do get chosen for WDWIP I can't go untill january, anyone know the start times of the program? or is it just all the time?

Look forward to chatting with everyone here! :)

    First of all, good luck!

It depends... when you have your interview you have to tell when you can begin working, so if they accept you they'll schedule your departure.

No sweat about not being able to go until January. Not sure where in Canada you are, but they do the West Coast interviews in October and East Coast in Feb/March and you usually don't go for at least a couple months after that...could even be 6 months!!!

Could even be longer. I was at the interviews in October and only arrived here in June. So... that was an 8 month wait for me.

    Good Luck

  5. awesome :) I have been gathering information and pouring over this site allll evening lol
Even if I don't get it, I have to try to move to California or Florida...either way...I can't wait!

Hey Tessa, just wanted to say good luck with applying. I'm from the Uk and have my final interview in November, I hope to fly out to Florida in March if I'm successful! :D

Yep...my 6 months was a nice estimate. I interviewed in October and arrived in August.

Even though it seems like forever, the wait isn't too bad. I've been waiting for the past 4 months, and I still have 3 1/2 more months before I go. The long period of time has given me a chance to learn more about the IP experience (what to expect, etc) and to tie some loose ends here at home. Though, i have to sa;)
