My friend has just told me that her university has given them information on a new program Disney is doing but I'm not sure how accurate her information is... :-X She reckons Disney have invited her and others (who are applying to do a year in an American university) to study and work part time in WDW in a new campus they're building outside of WDW. She says they're paying for all accomodation and that they dont have to do an interview or any sort of screening, that they've just been 'invited'. Does anyone know of anything to do with this? I'm assuming she's got it wrong somewhere along the way because I wouldn't have thought Disney would hire ANYONE who's not been at least telephone interviewed. She seems to think its for 6 months too. Anyone heard anything about this??
What do you mean new campus? When would the program start? Ask her to send you or show you the info on it!
She said they're building a new university camput just outside of WDW in Lake Buena Vista and that its due to start taking people next June? She's not had anything written down on it and just says her tutor has told her about it. In all honesty I can't imagine its all correct so she's either got the wrong info or just just trying to burst my bubble...
I think she's gettin mixed up with the university of central florida..Because it says sponsored by university of central florida for the j1 academic program..and i think she thinks that means there paying for the accomodation..
well its sounds like the new graduate programme that i have an interview for next month? though she better not be getting in without any interviews!! but if i get on, i still have to pay for the accommodation dont i??
No she's not graduated so I dont think thats it. To me it sounds like she's combining all the programs they have to be honest...
