thought it would be really easy but i've run into trouble on the educational history section. bascially i went to a school to do my gcse's, a college to do my a levels and now in my 3rd year at uni. so would i include uni? or miss out high school? then course of study - are these the subjects i studied??? (hope not looking at the small gap to get them in!) number of years completed - i'm presumming 2 for GCSE's and 2 for Alevels type of diploma received - presumming thats GCSE, Alevel, degree etc whats everyone else done? cheers! Jo
hehe, I'm in exactly the same boat! I just put my highschool down, and then my sixth form college. As they are asking for your history then I don't think you include any current ventures, we havin't finished our degrees yet so we can't put it. At least I hope thats right. As for what studied and diploma, I put 'GCSE's' and A-Level's', and then put 'GCSE Awards' and A-level awards'. We don't get a highschool diploma like they do in the states so we can't really put that down. I figure if they need more specifics then they have a copy of our CV with it on.
ok cheers forgot they'd have our CV with it so your way does seem quite logical! got issues now in that i can't find an old jobs phone number! ahhhhhhhhhh! i hate application forms!
Hi Guys - I remember the old job numbers nightmare - called my mum and had her look them up in the yellow pages! For education i put 9 gcses, then put A levels with grades, then my degree and put date id finish... Dont think they are too fussed tho. Good luck! xxx
i've sorted it now - combined my gcses with A levels - which would've happened if i went to a sixth form school! toooooo excited now about it all! i just know i'm gonna get their soooooooooooo early! and if it rains, i'll scream.
