    Hi all!,
I'm a first time poster, but been lurking for a while. I sent my C.V. and cover letter to yummy today so thats the first step over with I guess, so fingers crossed. ^_^

What I was wondering is, are there any applicant's/alumni from N. Ireland about. So far I've noticed that each area of the UK has there own interview area i.e. England = London, Scotland = Inverness I think and Wales = Cardiff but is there a interview area for N. Ireland, its just so if I am lucky enough to get through to a F2F I can save to pay for the flights.

Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

    Later!

Scottish interviews are usually in Glasgow :) apparently there were interviews in aberdeen this year but only for the college program not the year long!

The Cardiff one was only for the summer programme though- I think you have to travel to do year long, so that doesn't guarantee anything for N. Ireland. Although I guess with N. Ireland it would involve a flight/ boat ride so maybe it's more likely that there's an interview based there??

Thanks alot, I so glad to hear that its so close. Means If I'm lucky enough to get a F2F I don't have to book flights, hotel etc, my dad can take me and wait for me, yeah ^_^

i dont actually think Yummy jobs has a specific place for interviews. Im from Liverpool, but when i did the college programme i had to go to Birmingham-ie, a 2 hr train ride for the interview, yet when i got there and met others from my part of the world, i found that they all went to Chester-which for those who dont know, is a 25 minute trainride from Liverpool

it all seems a bit random but i guess they can only take a certain amount of people to each day of interviews so if there is an over spill you would be asked to travel to some where else. I know that for the college programs they tend to travel to colleges/uni's but i was told that for the 1 year cultural rep program that they only do interviews in Glasgow,Belfast and London, the main thing is that you have got to the interview stage - so fingers crossed for eveyone with up coming interviews - no matter where they are!!! ;D

Oh thanks, well I still have to wait to see if I even get a phone interview, but I'm just so enthusiastic about this. I get excited everytime one of those Visit Disney World at Florida adverts come on television, I joke with my mum it's a sign, lol ^_^

So is there any other applicants about either waiting for phone or f2f interviews?
