    Hey

Just thought I'd start a topic about the movies and television everyone are looking forward to seeing that come out in the US before your home country. I'm a giant Scrubs/Zach Braff fan, so I'm hoping to catch the 6th season of Scrubs over there. Also living in Australia we aren't getting Zach Braff's new movie 'The Last Kiss' till Feb next year, so I look forward to seeing that before all my friends here too. WOO!

    What about you guys?

Lost has already started in the States everyone!!! sorry!!! Getting to watch films before everyone else was SO good...especially for big events like Harry Potter...I went to see that at the first midnight showing the day before it's release...the AMC theatre at downtown disney were showing it on at least 5 screens and there were hundreds of people there!! (a lot of people dressed up too!!) So much fun!!!

Actually, Harry Potter's release was on the exact same day as the UK, I just went to the first EVER showing at midnight the night before...so technically I did see it before everyone else....

Oh OK. That's slightly more acceptable then, although I still think the first showing should be in Britain really :p *Sulks*

Well thinking about it, if cinemas in Britain were doing the same thing and doing the first showing at 12midnight on the Thurs/Fri when it came out on the Friday officially, the anyone in England could have seen it first since with the time difference a midnight showing in Britain would have been 7pm in Orlando....does that even make sense?!

Haha, the old time difference trick eh?

I can't wait to see how people here in the UK react to Heroes personally, i get all the US shows over the net, not a big Lost fan now, but Prison Break and Heroes are essential viewing for me, and the US series of the office is brill!

I get all the same tv for some strange reason. Out of our about billion channels, we get three Canadian ones (four if you count Much Music) and the rest is all American tv. Seriously, American Idol is just as popular or more popular than Canadian Idol depending if someone from your hometown gets in. Because if they do, HUGE hometown pride comes out ;D

BUT I KNOW I am SO PUMPED to see Harry Potter 5 in theatres down there and the third Pirates debut!

Harry Potters a distinctly British thing i think, lol, its always the best to see it here, the premieres in Leicester Square always look amazing, and don't get me started on Pirates 3, can't wait to see it! I had the chance to go to the premiere of 2 this summer, but was on holiday in Vegas at the time, not fair!

Ack! No way! They had the cast down in Disney and huge to-do about the premiere of the second. The first movie I think had the major premiere party in Disneyland, so I wonder where the third will be? Lets cross our fingers that it'll be in DW ;D
