Just found this great link about getting around the Montreal Airport. http://www.airportwayfinder.com/yul/yul_en_player.html It has vidoes to help you get around and fill out customs forms and stuff.
Hey, Im bumping this thread. My mom found this and I think it's going to be really helpfull for Brodie, Jorden, Christina and I. Check it out!
Thanks Momsy, just checked it out and it was a great site to look at. Don't worry though Mara and Kristine are right, its quite a small airport and easy to get around in plus no terminal changes. They had construction going on last time I was there in March which made the baggage claims area a bit congested. Kristine, Brodie, Jei and Jorden will all find each other easily and I think they all get in within 20 minutes of each other.
I was at Montreal airport once to pick up coffeehype...I thought the parkade was going to collapse on me it was in such bad shape. The airport itself wasnt bad and it was pretty small. Just sucks that Im going to be back in my 2nd favourite Canadian city and I dont even get to leave the airport.
Hi anyone.. and hi Momsy.. Do you have link like that about LAX.. I heard that LAX is the most crowded airport in the world..lol.. I am afraid of getting lost in there.. please help me.. My trip will be Jakarta -> Taipei -> LA -> Orlando.. HELPPPPPPPPPP ??? ??? ??? ???
Re: Montreal Airport Help/LAX Not sure if this will help but here is a link that had some maps and stuff that helps to visualize the airport, always remember when you get off the plane to go to a connecting flight the very first thing to do is check the departure screens for information about your next flight, never rely on your boarding pass as it wont have your departure gate on it. http://www.iflylax.com/lax_map0.html Also they will might make you take your shoes off in security before going through the scanner. They suggest wearing sandals to help speed up the process. Flip around the website link above and also visit http://www.lawa.org/lax/welcomeLAX.cfm for more tips. One of the restaurant's at LAX (with the parabolic arches) is called the Encounter was designed by Disney however it is hard to get to and somewhat expensive. Here is a quote of the designers Q: Who designed the Encounter? A: The interior of the restaurant was designed by Ed Sotto and Ellen Guevara for Walt Disney Imagineering (WDI). WDI designer Michael Valentino created the interior of the building and exterior lighting program. (WDI is the master planning, creative development, design, engineering, production management, and research and development subsidiary of the Walt Disney Company.) However Disney does not own or operate this restaurant. Good luck on your travels.
