Howdy! So because America has a crap health care system lol we, as Canadians anyways and i'm assuming everyone for Cultural Rep, need 4 months medical insurance coverage before the Disney coverage kicks in... Has anyone looked into this yet? And if you have what did you do?? lol! My start date is March 23rd so I have to get on it sooon lol! I know there are lots of Canadians on here starting before me so I was just wondering what everyone was dooing! Cheers!
Hey, I just got insurance through my mom's work. The company I'm with here actually has coverage for me across the border. It's with Sunlife.
Yummy Jobs also suggest a company or two for medical insurance via their site, and they offer some sort of special rate because of this deal with Yummy Jobs. Yummy is quick to say it's just a suggestion, so it's still a good idea to shop around. I think for ICP I went with Blue Cross health insurance, but haven't gotten knee deep into it yet for this year.
