    Hi guys

Looking for advice on medical insurance. What companies did you get it from? what were the rates like? I've been going crazy ready policies and getting quotes. i want good coverage(upfront), i don't mind paying for it but i don't want to overpay either.

Sorry, thought I had resoponded to you earlier

    I went with CAA - it's basically a $1 a day and for upfront coverage it's about $1.50 a day.

Was the best bet for me, and actually thinking I will just extend my coverage for my entire year as after your first three months Disney coverage is like $20 a week...therefore Canadian is Cheaper!

thanks! I actually had not checked with CAA yet.
I'm willing to bet the canadian coverage is probally offers more protection than the disney plan.

    See you in 19 days!

    ??? ??? ???
How did you get such a great rate with CAA? I was quoted $325/4 months or $1022/12 months from them.

i got a quote from Travelguard (also upfront) for deluxe coverage $233/4 months or $730/12 months. They also offered an essential plan that was $151.22/4month or $490/12months. Thats the best rate I've found so far. has anyone dealt with this company before?

I went with CAA and from all the berating and questioning I did, I understand I'm covered for the time we're supposed to be (4 months?) and it pays upfront for me if anything were to happen. So I don't have to worry about getting paid back and paying myself! It ended up being 300 and some dollars - can't quite remember. But I thought that was a rather fine deal for the full coverage :D

does the disney coverage after 4 months pay up front for you as well or no?

You don't find out any information about Disney coverage until after your 90 days.

From what I know disney coverage isn't cheap compared to what you might be able to get at home!

kay this may sound like quite a dumb question...but I am on my school insurance plan right now that will run out after I graduate next month, so now I have to find some med. insurance until December (when I leave for Disney) and then buy something different for disney? or can I get something that will cover both? if any one has any suggestions please let me know...because I have been researching, and I am completely lost!

if you are going to look for insurance after you graduate just ask them at the same time if it will cover you into the US and if you travel
