The new celebration 'happiest celebration on earth' begins on May 5th celebrating 50 years of disney theme parks. It might be a press conference, i'm sure it closed early when something else was annouced, or officially opened, maybe Mission Space, and soarin is due to open at epcot around the time of the start of the celebration.
what's the website?? i remember when we closed at 3pm for Mission Space. It was the thursday before the Canadian Thanksgiving. We stayed in the restaurant and had a big thanksgiving day feast! it was nice to have everyone all together. the only thing that sucked is that we couldn't go see Sugar Ray perform
i can't remeber which website i read it but basically it just said to remeber that epcot will be closed at 3pm due to a press conference.
i can't wait until i can get back down there to go on Soarin! i watched them building it behind Canada when I was there. now i need to start saving your pennies...
That is kinda good in a way, as the staff in Epcot can pop over to Magic Kingdom and watch the special shows and fireworks planned for that day!
that is if your managers don't have things planned for you already. i think the UK had special games or something arranged when M.S. opened. maybe that was another day... it was too long ago for me to remember...
Wohow! Going to be over there on May 5th! Cant wait for my hols now! The UK had a barbaque thingy and quiz when MS opened. I won a T-shirt! It was meant to be a team building effort so free food and prices went down well. Depends on your manager though as this was Jeff, Jodi and Staceys brainwave
