March 15th Liverpool Interview

Hi. I finally got my interview date through and its march 15th. It's in liverpool which i was suprised at because i just assumed id be going to london. So does anyone else have an interview on the same day.

yeah me too cause it would have taken me 40 mins from where i live instead of the 4 hours it took to get to Glasgow, anyway all was good.

Just got an email yesterday confirming I was coming to liverpool as oppose to london as I was told on the phone, never mind, not as far for me to travel (I'm coming from Manchester Uni).

Anyways, are we the only ones going!?

Louise if ur comming from Sheffield letr me know as the train sometimes stops in Leeds i can meet ya!

Yeah there is a central train which goes straight there and there's one which would mean changing at manchester which i think might stop in leeds too so we could all end up on the same train. I'm not sure which ill get yet the one with a change is cheap and doesnt seem to take much longer. Either way ill have to be at the train station around 6 in the morning.

 

Anyone else coming to liverpool?

And does anyone know how far away the station is from the university?

 

liverpool lime street station is right in city center u wont need to go far at all,, good luk guys maybe ill see u over here soon xxx

Yeah if not we can still meet at the station and then try to work out how to get to the university. I'm still trying to work out which train is best to get cause the one that stops at manchester would mean waiting for about an hour before changing train. So have u decided what you are wearing yet? I went shopping today but didnt find much.

I soooo dont know what to wear! Im lost, lost! I dont want to wear a lot of black as i dont want them to think im plain...but i sooooo do!

Im not sure what train im getting! I think i have to stop somewhere not sure where tho as i havent really checked! Im looking for cheapo hotels becxsue it would be soooo much easier!

Let me know if u find any cheap hotels cause i would be interested and we could share. Although im seriously running out of money this month our gas bill was huge. I think im probably going to wear brown if i can find something. I'm going shopping again this week and hopefully ill have better luck.

Yeah i bought lottery tickets for the euromillions when it was really high but sadly i didnt win.

If i get the job i would be arriving either 11th June or 25th June. I said 25th at first but then i got an email saying that there were limited places so could i start earlier so i said i could start on the 11th but i would prefer to start on 25th since my term doesnt end until the 9th. When would you start? I hope its not as complicated as my story.

 

Did everyone get the email with directions? Looks it's not far from the station which is good but they have changed the time from 9:30 to 9am. I'm going to have to sort of my travel plans now.

Im liz and also have my interview in Liverpool. Very handy for me though cos im at university there. Its pretty easy to find your way to the university from the train station. Cant wait till the interview! Now need to decide what to wear .......!

 

hey my interviews on the 2oth but if anyone needs any help getting around liverpool just ask coz im a scouser i know the place inside out
