Male and Female in the same room

Hey guys,

Just a question. My friend and I want to stay in the same room, the problem is I heard that the apartments are females or males only..
Is this true?
Also would be just be able to share a one bedroom apartment then? Does anyone know anyone that has done this in the past?

I think I've heard about a co-ed apartment before, but I think you have to be married for them to let you do that. Otherwise, I'm sure they would get a whole lot of requests for that.
