Hi all...first o f all i´d like to say that this site was the most helpful i´ve ever found....i stayed yesterday ´till 6 in the morning reading most of the topics, and still i have some doubts... I´m going on november 28th to work as a QS F&B at walt disney resort, does anybody know what is that like? and, where do you think i´m going to stay? i´d also wanted to know if it is easy to schedule myself to work extra hours? and about that, i read some people saying that F&B is where you make the most money, but, there´s only 0.50 c additional to the regular 6.40 per hour, and they were very clear when they said that YOU WOULDN´T BE IN A TIPPED POSITION, so , is it still good enough to pay the rent and still have fun? cuase, if i stay in a room taht i have to pay 91 dollars for week i´d be broke....anyways...regarding fun, i´d like to know abou the clubs we can go in orlando, except those at the pleisure island....i found the club paris? is it good? dos anybody know what is it like? .........just a few more...SORRY.....is it easy to go to those places at night, for example....the bus they provide leaves like, avery minute, how is the transportation matter therE?!?!?! Hey, Wow its always sooo good to see people still excited to go. Im not 100% sure where you will live as that stuff always changes. I would assume probably commons. You will make money in a quick serve position but not enough to be completly carefree. You make tons if you are in tipped positions. In regards to getting around u just have to set yourself to knowing that the buses arent great but they get you where you need to be. I hated the buses but some of the best memories are on crazy bus rides. Getting downtown you pretty much have to take a cab. The cabs are about 30 or 40 but if you get enough people in a car you can do it easily and well. Club Paris is unreal. I luved it. Other people like cowboys or antigua better but club paris was the best for me. Just go into it knowing its the fun that you make that will be your memory.
e ae marcelo =] td boum? hi marceloooo!!! i'm brasilian as well and i'm just as exited as you. great to see a brazilian around here =]! moslty we discuss this things at our comunities at Orkut (I don't know if u have a profile..) anyway the name is Disney Cast Members 2006/2007 if you want u can take a look and get to know the 850 brazilian cast members that r going to live and work with you in th International College Program 2006/2007. i'll be arriving at US on the 14th of november and i just can't wait =]! as to your questions, most of the times our program is diferent from de cultural representative.. so we brasilians r usualy acomodated in Vista Way, not in The Commons. The Commons is the Best disney housing, and we would love to live there.. but i never heard of any brasilian stayng there, so.. the other questions i just cant remember! lol! but try the Orkut Community. I can assure u a lot of your questions will be ansered =]
