Woo Hoo, I just got my uni results! I got a 2-1! I'm so happy, I cried before and after I got my results! lol Now I have a 2-1 and a job in disney! Now all I have to worry about is saving upenlugh money. EMostpeople must have some results looming! Are you all nervous? I'm now on the champagne! Typical! congrats, i dont have a clue when i get my results, wont be for a while though. for my 1st degree i got a 2.2 was 1 bloody percent off 2.1 which annoyed the hell out of me, was gonna appeal but didnt see the point as my degree will pretty much become obsolete once finish my masters! anyway enjoy the champagne u deserve it!
Wow that's fantastic Lianne- you must be thrilled! I'm still in the midst of exams- think my results come out on the 8th July! Am nervous because depending on these exams I'm borderline 2:2/2:1!! So far (cross fingers! ) they don't seem to be too horrendous though! (watch me jinx myself now!) Charlotte x

Its like a grade. In UK universities you can get 1st (highest), 2-1, then 2-2 then a third, and you can also get unclassified, which means you didnt get a graded degree but you still did the course. Along those lines anyway! Charlotte x
so u only have 4 grades.... here we have grades 6 5 4 3 2 1 0, 1 and 0 being Fail-grades what would the english equivalent be then, roughly 6 - 2-1 5 ... 1 and 0 - unclassified....?? or what??? :

6 = 1st (70%+) 5 = 2:1 (60-69%) 4 = 2:2 (50-59%) 3 = 3rd (45-49%) 2 = pass (40-45%) 1/0 = fail (under 39%) I think that's about right! : I wonder why degrees have those type of grades !??! ah, Thanx Ellen.... yeah, one complex grading system ours was much easier....hehe but what do the %'s mean is it if you got more than 70% right you get 1st, 'cause in norway you basically have to have everything right to get a 6
well to everyone who got the grades the wanted Well done and to everyone still waiting on there grades GOod luck
examiners will give you a percent based on how well you've done/how well you've answered a question etc...and then, all the individual pieces of work are worked out at an average percent....and that gives you the grade.....it's all very weird...... Ellen x
